I was asked to create some t-shirt designs for the 2011 Run to Remember race, for the runners running for the Elk Grove Police department. I will be participating in the run as well.

Here are my first 3 ideas. I will be working on a couple more and will share them with all of you soon.

51 Chicago Police officers have made the ultimate sacrifice, giving their lives in the line and performance of duty. The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing assistance to the families of our fallen heroes, as well as providing assistance to catastrophically injured officers. The event is held at Gold Star Families Memorial and Park, which honors the brave men and women who dedicated their lives to protecting the citizens of Chicago.

Here is my fourth submission for the Signalnoise Retro Poster Competition. I am really getting a kick out of designing retro styled art nowadays. In a lot of my earlier designs I was designing 80’s and 70’s retro, but now I am inspired by older styles; must be from watching “Boardwalk Empire on HBO!”

I will be experimenting further into more retro styled art in the future and even looking farther back into styles in the 1920s/1930s.

One thing about me is I am never satisfied with my branding. I am always thinking about ways to improve my logo, website, business cards, etc.

Here is the newest version of my logo that I just completed. I will be implementing it into all of my materials in the next couple of days.

Hopefully I will stick with this new look for a while. =0)

One of my favorite video games of all time is Galaga!  I used to spends hours dropping quarters into the machine playing this great game.

So I thought it would be fun to recreate some of the characters and come up with the artwork you see below. Enjoy!
